Towards a Better Future for School Children

Our CSR activities in the first half of 2022 were focused on infrastructure development in seven schools across Kerala. 

We provided classroom infrastructure, including benches and desks, for St. Augustins UP School and IVM LP School in Trivandrum and Karthika Thirunal School and Govt UP School in Cochin.

DV UP School, Balaramapuram, Trivandrum was another beneficiary, where our contributions included a bore well to provide potable water and new roofing for classrooms. Apart from addressing the need for basic amenities, we constructed a smart classroom on the premise to help students leverage technology in education. A smart classroom was also constructed at Government UP School, Paranthode, Trivandrum. We also assisted in the construction of a children’s park at Government VHSS, Keezhvaipur, Pathanamthitta. 

The changes were a welcome surprise for students who returned to school in the first week of June 2022 after a long break due to the pandemic. Some of these schools needed extensive repair and preparation to offer a safe and healthy environment for students. 

All the schools covered by the CSR were suggested by our employees.
